Invited by the Secretaria de Cultura do Estado do Ceará, Câmara Setorial do Audiovisual – ADECE and Porto Iracema das Artes, LATITUDE will participate at the Rio Content Market, the biggest Latin American Audiovisual Market, happening in Rio de Janeiro in March 2017.
One of the projects we are going to present at this market is #MeninasDoBenfica, a project for a TV series developed with support of the Brazilian Film Agency – ANCINE – via BRDE/FSA PRODAV 05/2013.

In 2016 LATITUDE develops two TV series: MENINAS DO BENFICA directed by Roberta Marques and INARA directed by Larissa Figueiredo.
“Meninas do Benfica” tells the story and the struggles of four girls from Fortaleza recently graduated in journalism at the Ceará Public University. Created by Roberta Marques the series has been developed in collaboration with Armando Praça and Letícia Simões, with consultancy Leonardo Levis.
“Inara”, a co-production with Tu i Tam Filmes, is a project written for children and teenagers. The series tells the story of the encounter and adventures of teens Inara and Lucas in the beautiful region of the Lençois Maranhenses, in the Northeastern coast of Brazil. “Inara” counts with the collaboration of Brazilian audiovisual experts and will soon in its development phase.
The two projects were selected by PRODAV – programme for support and development of Brazilian Audiovisual, which support of the FSA – Brazilian Audiovisual Fund.

Looking Forward – films and still frames is a collection of works by Roberta Marques proposing an invisible bridge between film, photography, text and performance. The artshow runs June 6 through June 20 2015 at the Gallery Lokaal WV15 in Amsterdam.

Looking Forward Manhattan, the third and concluding part of the Looking Forward Trilogy will have its world premiere at EYE in Amsterdam inside the Cinedans Film Festival 2015. The film will be preceded by screenings of the first two parts. March 13th at 21:00.

Our project for development of a Drama TV Series, “Meninas do Benfica”, was selected at the program Brazilian Fundo Setorial do Audiovisual, PRODAV 5. We are proud and ready to start 2015 with full inspiration. The project is coordinated by Roberta Marques who will write and direct this TV series with collaboration of young and talented writers and directors.
