Latitude Sul Filmes
Latitude Sul Filmes was found in 2001 by film producer and director Roberta Marques. Since then LATITUDE is established in Fortaleza, Ceará, at the Northeast coast of Brazil, producing and co-producing audiovisual content.

Roberta Marques (1968, Maranguape, Brazil) graduated as a filmmaker from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, and as performance artist from Das Arts, both in Amsterdam. She won awards for best film for her first feature RÂNIA at the Rio International Film Festival in the Brasil Novos Rumos section, at the FEMINA International Women’s Film Festival and at the Cine Ceará.
Her work (fiction films, documentaries, performances and installations) has also been shown at the Jerusalem Film Festival, World Cinema Amsterdam, Festival International de Film de Femme de Salé Morocco, Festival International del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano Havana, Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival, Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam, Nes Theaters, PS 122 (NYC), Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil, Centro Dragão do Mar de Arte e Cultura a.o.
Roberta Marques lives and works alternately in the Netherlands and Brazil.
